Adults of all ages as well as children can benefit from orthodontic care. There is no ideal age for orthodontic treatment because the time and type of treatment varies for each individual. The American Association of Orthodontists does recommend that every child have an initial exam by age 7. In many instances, no treatment may be necessary at this time. However, early diagnosis and treatment of young people can maximize improvement with the least amount of the time and expense. We always offer several payment options to make orthodontics affordable. The cost can vary depending on the difficulty of the treatment. We strive to be as helpful as possible with your insurance by determining the coverage you have available and filing for the benefits at the onset of treatment. We will work with you to maximize your insurance benefits.
You will be examined by Dr. Song to determine if orthodontic treatment is necessary and when treatment should begin. She will discuss preliminary findings with you and address any of your questions and other concerns.
If orthodontic treatment is needed, complete diagnostic records (two digital x-rays of the head+jaw, study models of teeth, and digital pictures of the face+teeth) will be taken by her friendly staff in order to properly diagnose and treat the case.
